What the Funk is Milkis?

Well, I'm about to tell you. It's milk soda, and it's made with soul in Seoul Korea, so that you can walk into your local Kim's Asian Market and buy a can of delicious refreshment for 99 cents. If Kim charges you tax, you probably need to shop their more often, buying random asian delicacies to impress Kim with your taste.

Outside of the can is packed with amazing. You can read right on the can that Milkis has a "Fantastic Feel!" I didn't realize what other sodas were missing until now, but it's definitely the feel. Move on down the can and you can tell that Milkis is the "New feeling of soda beverage". Those other sodas you're used to? That's the old feeling. This is a leverage beverage.

Continuing the investigation, the can has two characters on it; on one side a babe with an umbrella, flying through the air, which I am down with. The other, a dude with a balloon, doing yoga or flying or something, but he has a cool hat, so he's got my vote.

Moving on to the inside, Milkis comes in 3 flavors, which is more flavor than some people. There's the original, Melon (fortified with Vitamins A & D), and strawberry. Let's talk about the flavors of milk soda:

Melon: Surprisingly enough, it does taste like melon, but too much so, and too much like melon flavor, not actual melon. Reminds me of floating on a honeydew in a sea of Milkis.

Orig: It's good, not too Milky, not too soda-y. refreshing and cooling, and would go well with desserts in a desert.

Strawbeezy: Easily the best flavor, like strawberry milk that's carbonated, but more in the soda spectrum than the milk spectrum.



So How do they get that delicious Milkis flavor? Skim Milk powder! If you can drink milk in soda form, that's got to be healthy, right? Soon kids all across America will be washing their cereal down with 250 mL cans of Milkis, Having Milkis with cookies, and if they're really lucky, they'll get to go to a farm and get some Milkis straight from the cow's teet. That's the New Feeling of Soda Beverage!
